Cycling Mariposa

Mariposa county offers some of the best road and mountain biking you will find.  Beautiful landscape, challenging mountains and in most cases light traffic, except on highway 140.  For an all day road ride that requires no driving, try the Hornitos Loop You can leave from our front door.   If you are looking for just a quick ride before dinner you can try the course along Bear Valley Road.  In Mariposa County there are many road rides to choose from.  If you are into mountain biking there are trails nearby like Pendola Gardens, or Hunter Valley access road.  But if you are interested in a real adventure try the Merced River Trail between Briceburg and Bagby parks.
